Wow, What a powerful clip! It's probably hard for anyone to watch it and not cringe at some point. CD is always easier to see in others. The CD that's driving me crazy these days is "Taxpayer" Most of us are net tax drains, but refuse to see ourselves for what we are. Schoolteachers, cops, politicians, road workers, etc etc salaries are pain by government directly, yet they'll turn around and call themselves "taxpayers". I'm not saying they don't work hard, but in the grand scheme, they're simply not taxpayers (tax-kickbackers, maybe). Or people say "we (the elusive taxpayer) bailed-out Wall Street." Excuse me? That bill hasn't been paid. You put it on your tab, but you haven't paid your tab, nor will you ever.
Last time I checked, total government spending (State, local & Fed) accounted for 43% of GDP!!! Without the magic of defecit spending, you'd have to ask the private sector to carry 175% of it own weight.
The more people become dependant on the government, the less likely they are to force change and collapse becomes a mathematical certainty, but try to explain that to anyone.
